At The Konkret, living by the coast makes us acutely aware of the impact of waste on our oceans. That’s why we strive to operate as sustainably as possible, from using locally sourced materials, foods, and goods to carefully choosing eco-friendly materials in our design and service offering. As tourism grows, we’re committed to keeping Lombok clean and beautiful to avoid the waste issues that have affected other popular spots like Bali and the Gili Islands.
Impact with Purpose
We take pride in being plastic-free and actively supporting the Kuta Lombok recycling initiative, as well as the Kuta Program for Lombok Street Dogs, helping to make a positive impact on both the environment and local community. By encouraging local hiring, we also ensure our practices uplift the community.
This dedication involves daily efforts to minimize waste, educate both our guests and the local community on responsible living, and maintain sustainable practices that protect our island’s natural environment.
